Silo art trail tongala is a popular stop for those on the silo art trail. Lieutenant lorna margaret whyte the only woman featured in the artworks, lieutenant whyte joined the australian army nursing service (aans) in 1941 and was one of six nurses chosen to go to the island of new britain. The artwork took about seven weeks to complete and both the kookaburra and magpie are more than 10 metres high.
